Hello! My name is Kim and I am the owner and manageress of K9 Clip and Shine.

I will now tell you a little bit more about myself and what we do at the salon.

I have been a professional dog groomer and trainer now for the last 14 years and love it just as much now as when I first started.

I have found that taking the time to get to know a dog and recognize how well it responds to certain situations is very important in getting good results from both handling and grooming.

And my experience in dog training has taught me that you get the best from your pet with encouragement, patience and reassurance.

These factors have always been central to the way in which I groom. Having the time to let the dog relax and take a break if needed, and letting the dog enjoy the experience of being groomed and not become stressed often allow you to give a far superior finish.

My proven work ethic and experience with dogs allows me to cater for all breeds and sizes, with the facilities and experience needed to support and cater for both elderly dogs and those with behavioural problems with equal success.

We groom fully in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act 2006, and your pets entire time with us at the salon is covered by CCTV for total peace of mind and pet welfare transparency.

Customer satisfaction and the well being of the dogs in my care are my main priority.

To achieve this I believe that consultation is the key to understanding the needs of the owner and the dog to enable me to deliver the best finish possible.
